Need New Amp

My current Marshall MG30DFX is playing up so I'm looking to upgrade. Question is do I go for another MGDFX or a Marshall valvestate VSR 100 ( I don't need the built in effects as I have pedals.)

MG100 DFX

VSR100 Valvestate
Anyone any experience of either? Both around the same price on Ebay

Valvestate. for sure. I have a Valvestate head driving my half stack and it just runs laps around my friend's MG. It uses a tube in the preamp, so it sounds like a tube amp with the reliability of a solid state.

Hi Dalton

That was my gut feeling as well. I reckon I only need a 50w though and findin g one locally is proving difficult.
